It's a pain not knowing isn't it. I'm 8 weeks 5 days along. I know, still just barely, but when it's your second pregnancy it get's harder to hide. All that fun flub left over from pregnancy numero uno just doesn't stay in like it used to. I found out I was pregnant Thanksgiving Day. We didn't tell anyone until today (except Leslie, because I just had to tell someone and Angela found out on Tuesday cause I just didn't feel like lying that day.) Since Thanksgiving Day I have pretty much been restless wanting to find out how many I was pregnant with...1...2...3? I did take the same stuff that helped me to get the girls here, so it has been a little trying on my patience to wait to find out.

This morning was my first doctors appointment. Can you figure out how many? (Sorry about the messy shirt. Elsa is a neat eater, but she thinks her shirt is her napkin.)

Did you figure it out? Yep, twins again. What are the chances? Yea, not very high at all. My doctor said that he couldn't remember taking care of anyone that had back to back twins. We are thrilled and I know it sounds a little strange, but both of us were hoping for twins again (yes, even Ryan). I thought it would be nice to see how it is to just have 1 baby to care for, but we LOVE twins.

This whole time I've been a little emotional about this pregnancy. I know there are so many wonderful women who try and try and are never blessed with a baby. Then there are others who suffer miscarriages or have dealt with the death of a child or even children. All these stories weigh heavy on me and praying for comfort to be with mothers has been one of those things that has been constant in my prayers over the years. I was really nervous going in for this ultra-sound, but after seeing 2 little beating hearts, I can't help but contain my joy. I know a lot can happen during a pregnancy and it's not going to be an easy road, but for now I'm just going to bask in the joy a little.
